It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of Beatrice Zawadi Ongai which occurred on Wednesday 25th March 2023 following a cardiac arrest.

She was a dear wife to Elijah Ongai of Imilonje Ikuywa, Khayega, Kakamega County.

Daughter to the late James and Miriam Shilisia of Bushikali, Lirhanda.

Beloved mother to Phyllis (Australia) Tonny, Flavia (Sil Africa), Daisy (Australia), the late Purity, Victor and many others.

Sister to the late Pastor Kenneth, Harold, the late Joan, Onesmus and the late Nancy.

Daughter-in-law to the late James and Dorcas Musonye. Sister-in-law to Janerose, the late Henry, late Kennedy, late John, Consolata, Arthur, Everlyne, Pastor Lucy and Mary.

The cortege leaves Mukumu Funeral Home on Thursday, 6th April 2023 at 12:00 noon. Burial will be on Saturday 8th April 2023 at her home in Likhovero, Khayega Location, Kakamega county.
