BENEDICT ACHIENG’ ADIPO

It is with a heavy heart and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Pastor Benedict Achieng Adipo of VOSH Church-Olare Central, Chairman – Oluch Kimira Irrigation Scheme, previously a retired civil servant which occurred on 19th May, 2021 at Agakhan Hospital Kisumu.

He was a loving husband to Catherine A. Achieng’ and a doting father to Millicent Akinyi Adipo of Amazon South Africa , Victoria Atieno Adipo of Kisumu, Lillian Awuor Adipo of Edmund Rice Foundation, Juliet Adhiambo Adipo of UK, Celestine Atieno Adipo of University of Pretoria, George Okoth Adipo of Nairobi, Lillian Achieng’ Adipo and Beryl Achieng’ Adipo both of Kisumu. Son to the late Raphael Adipo and Berriedetta Adipo and a brother to the late Maryanne Ojijo, Charles Adipo, Prisca Okoyo, Dolorosa Ouso and Paul Mganda Adipo.

Grandfather to Ariana Thandiwe, Tiffany Joy and Aimie Bongiwe. Cousin to Edward Okello, Lawrence Achieng’ Oketho, Ann Achieng’ Ogwang’, Joseph Ochare; Alex Miruka, Benard Otieno and the late Gabrielle Akuku; grandson to Monica Augo, the late Susilla Aroko Oketho, Denis Oketho and the late Rebecca Okello. Nephew to Sylvester Omondi Ouma.

Loving uncle to the Ojijo’s -Tom , Christine, Beatrice,Victor, Peter, Diana, Everlyno and Maurine; The Adipo’s -Elyder, Emmanuel and Melvin; The Okoyo’s- Beatrice , Nancy, Elector, Felix, Emelden Maryanne and Elijah; The Ouso’s – Fredrick, the late Duncan and Immaculate; The Mganda’s -Bernedetta , Lucy and Maryann; The Achieng’s-Cecilia of Safarlcom and Maryanne USA; The Oketho’s Irene and Jeremiah.

The cortege leaves Star Hospital Mortuary for his home In Kasoro village, Kowili sub-location, Kochia West Location — Homabay County on Friday 28th May, 2021 at 7 am followed by a burial ceremony on the same day.
