BENJAMIN AYIRO SHIRAKU

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on Mzee Benjamin Ayiro Shiraku.

First born son of the late James Shiraku Inyundo and the late Martha Khanyisi and Mama Dorsila Anna Ayuma Shiraku of Ebuchero, Mundeku, Khwisero Sub-county, Kakamega County. Loving husband to Mama Florence Monicah Ayiro. Father of the late Alfred Inyundo, Thomas Lubanga, Patrick Askoyo. Martha Khanyisi, the late Alice Adhiambo, Morris Anene, the late James Shiraku, Zablon Ombuna and Abraham Anyanga. Father-in-law to Celine, Isabella, Alice and Rita. A loving grandfather to 10 grandchildren.

Brother to the late Hannington Asikoyo, the late Fredrick Omukuba, the Late John Ongache, the late Gerry Odhiambo, the late Gibson Ombonya, Mary Amunga, the late Helen Nyakowa, Pauline Obilo, Grace Amunga, Hilda Omwoyo, Jessica Shiraku, the late Lilly Musungu. Sarah Nyandiko, the late Sammy Shiraku, the Tate Naftaly Aseka, Adams Shiraku, the late Caro Shiraku and Elizabeth.

Brother-in-law to the late Mary Kagure, Judith Okoko, the late Defina, the late Repher, Esther, Judith and Rhoda Shiraku, the late Silas, the late Fred, Risper, Nancy and Mama Edwina Moyi, the late Ruth Ndukwe and the late Apollo Moyi.

There will be a fundraising on Wednesday, 16th February, 2022, to defray Funeral expenses at All Saints Cathedral at 5.30pm.

The cortege departs from Coptic Hospital Maseno on Friday 18th February, 2022 at 12noon. Burial will be at his home Ebuchero, Mundeku, Khwisero Sub-county, Kakamega District on Saturday 19th February, 2022.

God gives and God takes. We thank God for the year we shared with this intelligent man. We shall forever miss you dad, engraved in our Marts forever, in God’s arms you rest.
