Son of the late Erastus Mugai and the late Esther Wamutua. Brother to Madris Mate, the late Njura, the late Eunice Njogu, Rev. Abed Mugai, the late Njiru and Sarah (Tata) Brother InLaw to Mate Runyenje, the late Njogu, the late Njeru, Lucy Mugai, Jane Njiru and Cyprian Muriuki. Uncle to many.

Husband to Mrs. Veronica Elizabeth N. Mugai. Father to Pamela Wanja, Robert Njeru, Peter Muriithi, Agnes Muthoni, jean Njura and Paul Edwin Muchangi. Father-in-law to Jecinta Wanjiku Njeru, Alice Muthoni Muriithi, Bernard Owiti and Magdaline Muchangi.

Grandfather to Tamira, Winnie, David Victor, Samuel Munene, Prisila Wanja, Ben Zablun, Bradley Joseph, Petzy, Effie, Enoch, Marriane Mwende and Victoria Queen.

The cortege leave Tenri Ena Morgue on Monday 18th October 2021 at 9.00am to rest at his Kinyoriri Home, Kathunguri, Embu County. The funeral service will be at ACK St. John The Baptist Church Kathunguri Embu County on 18/10/21 at 10.30am.
