BENJAMIN KING’OO KATUMA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of the Chief Principal Benjamin King’oo Katuma; which occurred on 13th January 2024 at Bristol Park Hospital Machakos after a short illness. Until his demise, he was the Chief Principal of Karama Secondary School in Meru County.

Son to the late Mr/Mrs Paul Katuma.

Husband to Rose King’oo. Father to Dennis of Uzima University – Kisumu; Allan of Mount Kenya University
and Rachael Mueni of AMREF International University – Nairobi.

Brother to Morris Musembi, the late David, Bendator Wayua, the late Mueni, the late Nthenya and the late Muasya.

Son-in-law to Mr/Mrs Alexander Kavyu. Brother-in-law to Onsemus, Kioko, Mueni, Mutua and Mbaku.

Benjamin worked as a Teacher at Ivingoni Secondary School, Kasikeu Secondary School as a Deputy Principal, liani Secondary School as a Principal and Mukameni Secondary School. He worked as a Senior Principal at Inyokoni
Secondary School and thereafter as Chief Principal at Karama Secondary School in Meru County.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home Kamwanyani Village, Kyevaluki Sub- Location, Kangundo Sub – County for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Machakos Funeral Home on Saturday 20th January 2024 for prayers and burial at his rural home.

He was a loving father and husband and will be missed by many.
