BENSON MUTAHI MURIITHI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mr Benson Mutahi Muriithi, on 5th July 2024 after a short illness.

Son of late Julius Muriithi and late Esther Mirigo of Gikumbo.

Benson was the beloved husband of the late Teresa Nyawira.

He was a loving father of David Muriithi, Esther Wanjiru (Mombasa), Jane Wairimu, (Mugwandi Secondary), Zipporah Wangechi (State Department for Internal Security & National Administration), Phillip Mwangi, Ruth Wambui (Mount Kenya University, Thika), Jackson Muriuki, Christine Muthoni, Annpolly Nyaguthii (State Department for Higher Education).

Father in law of the late Macharia Ndegwa, late Engineer Ngure, Prof. Moses Muriithi (University of Nairobi), Elishiba Maina (Office of the Auditor General Nairobi), Dr. Edward Mburu (Karatina University), Mary Nyaguthie (DCC’s Office, Mathira East Sub-County) and Engineer Paul Wanyoike (KenGen).

He was brother of Zipporah Wangechi, Jackson Muriuki, Leah Muthoni and Julius Warui who are all late.

Grandfather of Ben Mutahi and Ian Mutahi among many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he adored.

Daily prayer meetings are being held at Ambassador Hotel (Nairobi), Room 115 at 5.30pm and at his home in Gatondo from 4.00pm – 6.00pm.

The Funeral Mass will be held on July 13th 2024 at Gatondo Primary at 11:00 am.

Thereafter he will be laid to rest at his home in Gatondo.
