BERNADETTE ANYANGO DONDO

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Bernadette Anyango Dondo, who went to be with the Lord on 06th July, 2023 in Toronto, Canada after a short illness.

Daughter of the late Joseph Dondo and the late Teresia Atieno Dondo of Kanyamkago South, Migori County. Step-daughter to the late Eunice Aluoch Dondo and Tabitha Akinyi Rae.

Bernadette and Nathan Nyongesa lyadi were blessed with one beloved child; Zipporah Rosanna Nawande lyadi. She leaves behind one doting grandchild Manuela Joaquim. Both are residents of Toronto Canada.

Sister-in-law to Albert Oduol Gumo (Kitale), Joseph Olendo (Kisumu), Sibomana (Rwanda), late Lt. Col. Robert Omanya, Boaz Odhiambo Oyatho (Migori), Dorice Nyunja (Msa), Mary Adhiambo Odhiambo (Msa), John Opondo (Kendu Bay),William Aboge (Ruai), Nick Daunt (UK) and Eli Abdulla Nazir (Prato Energy).

Auntie to Magero, Kevin, Omullo,Veronica, Dondo, Jackie, Laban, Emmanuel, Eugene, Dr. Maureen, late Richie, Jean, Dr. Angela, Victor, Charles, Michelle, JoyTreezah, Marianne, Diana, Justice, Winnie,Vallary, Junior, Sharon, Eunice, Wayne, Peter, Linnet, Antony, Nicola, Kai, Zara and Zoe. She was the doting grand-auntie to 27 lovely grandchildren!

A Memorial Service has been planned for Wednesday 28th June, 2023 at St. Paul’s Catholic Chapel, University Way – Nairobi, Kenya at 10.00am.

Her funeral service will take place at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church – Toronto Ontario, Canada on Saturday 8th July, 2023 at 10.30am. Thereafter, she will be laid to rest in Woodbridge,Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
