BERNADETTE ATIENO OWINO
Sunrise: 11th May,1950 – 16th June, 2024
With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Bernadette Atieno Owino on 16th June 2024.
Born to the late Peter Owuor Omondi and the late Rose Saunda Omondi, Bernadette was sister of Thomas Odhiambo, Antonina Awuor, the late George Omondi, the late Margaret Achieng, the late Oscar Omondi, and the late Dr. Lucas Owuor.
She was the loving wife of the late John Andrew Owino and a devoted mother of the late Cecilia Akinyi, Robert Ochieng, Michael Owuor, and Raymond Oduwo.
She leaves behind cherished relationships with her extended family and friends.
A requiem mass will be held on 27th June 2024 at 3:00 PM at St. Pantaleon Catholic Church in Siaya.
The funeral will take place on Friday, 28th June 2024, at her home in Awelo, Siaya.

Dear family of Bernadette,
Poleni sana kwa kumpoteza mpendwa wenu katika kifo. Kwa kweli ni jambo lenye kuhuzunisha na kuumiza sana. Baba wetu wa mbinguni anaelewa vizuri jinsi mnavyohisi katika kipindi mnachoomboleza na ataendelea kuwapa faraja.
