It is with heavy hearts and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to Glory of Bernardette Wairimu Ithari of Nakuru County, Njoro Constituency, Lare Ward, Pwani Location.

Daughter to the late Ishmael Ithari Gaitho and the late Beatrice Wanjiku Ithari. Sister to the late Lydia Nyambura, the late Esther Wambui, the late Samwel Gaitho, Ann Wanja Mbugua and Susan Wangari Wachira.

Mother to Rev. Fr. Prof. Joseph Ithari Gaitho (Principal Loreto Boys Seconday School – Nakuru), Samwel Gaitho (USA), Moses Kagiri (Molo Sub-County Hospital), Beatrice Wanjiku (Business Lady). Mother-in-love to Monicah Warao Gaitho and Juliah Wanjiku Kagiri.

First Cousin to the late Peris Wangui, Albert Mwangi (U.S.A), the late Lucy Wambui, the late Francis Gaitho, John Njuguna, Kinuthia Wamwangi (former Chairman Transition Authority), the late Joseph Gaitho, Paul Macharia and Mary Wanjiku.

Aunt to Faith, Mutua, Muthoni,Warukira and many others.

Grandmother to Andrew Ithari Gaitho, Ejidio Mureithi Gaitho, Lenny Kagiri Gaitho, Joseph Ithari Kagiri, Bernadette Wairimu Kagiri, Georgina Wamaitha Kagiri, David Kinya Kagiri, Kelvin Ithari, Sarah Wanjiru, Kirungu, Mungai and many others. A Great-grandmother to 45 children.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Njoro, Pwani Location.

The cortege will leave Egerton University Funeral Home Njoro, on Wednesday, 24th January, 2024 at 8:00 am for funeral service and burial thereafter at her Home.

Rest in Peace in the blossom of the Lord. We love you but the Lord loves you more. Amen!
