BERNARD KENAGWA MOGAMBI

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance that we announce the passing away of our beloved Bernard Kenagwa Mogambi of Kenya Airports Authority on January 9, 2025 after prolonged illness.

He was the son of the late Mogambi Maosa and Peris Moraa Mogambi.

He was the loving husband of Violet Bernard Mogambi and a devoted father of Ivan and Alvin.

He was a brother of Jacqueline, Gladys, Caroline, Lydia, Jerusa, Maosa and Janet.

He was a nephew of the late Ondieki, the late Onyinge Maosa, Riege Maosa, Nyabiege Maosa, Nyambati Maosa, Kibegwa Maosa, Okioga Maosa, Mingate Maosa, Ochoki Maosa, the late Henry Nyariki, Julius Okara, the late Lukas Okara, the late Donald Okara, Peter Okara, the late Elizabeth Atai, Alice Kiage, Sam Okara and Erastus Okara.

He was a brother-in-law of Martin, George, Zablon, Tom, Evans, Naomi, Elizabeth, Kionja and Kennedy.

He was an uncle of Pavel, Egon, Goody, Phoebe, Hoody, Isaiah, Michele, Oprah, Mogambi, Lynne, Elton and Kerubo.

He was a cousin, a relative, a colleague and a friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his Hillcrest Park Athi River residence from 4.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, 15th January 2025 at Don Bosco Church, Upper Hill from 2.00 pm.

The cortege leaves Nairobi on 16th January 2025 to Nyamira County.

The burial will be held at his home in Riamokogoti Village, Borabu Subcounty in Nyamira County on Friday, 17th January 2025 from 10.00am.
