It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Bernard Kiiru Mwangi, which occurred on Tuesday the 3rd August, 2021, after a short illness.

A beloved son of Rev. Charles Mwangi Kamore and Mrs Rebecca Muthoni Mwangi. Son-in-law of late Mary Gathegu Matindi. Loving husband to Ann Wambui of Mazars CPA(K). Devoted father of Rebekah Muthoni, Norah Murugi (both of Green Aces Prep. Sch) and Gloria Mwihaki (Kahuho rd. Academy). Brother of Symon & Mary Kamore, Gerald & Frashia Gikuhi, Godwin & Carol Muturi and Naftaly & Naomi Karugo.

A cherished uncle of Pauline, Timothy, Juan, Ezekiel, Grace, Emmanuel, Pavin, Clara, Charles, Patrick, Victor, Lewis and Joy. Brother-in-law of Peter Maina, Samuel Kiriungi and others. A nephew, cousin and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence in Maono Estate – Matini, Waithaka 5.00pm-7.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements and his parents’ home in Mutitu Village, Karindi, Mukurwe-ini – Nyeri County from 4.00pm – 6.00pm.

The burial will take place on Wednesday 11th August, 2021. The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home (Northern By-Pass) at 7.00am. Funeral service will take place in Karindi Sports Stadium Grounds, at 10.00am, followed by interment at the family home at Mutitu Village Mukurwe-ini.
