BERNARD MATE MURIITHI “WA KANICE”

We regret to announce the passing on of Bernard Mate Muriithi “Wa Kanice” of JKIA Clearing and Forwarding following a long illness.

Son of the late Harun Muriithi Mburia and the late Margaret Wacuka. Son-in-law to Joseph Njenga and Beatrice Mwihaki.

He was a loving husband to Catherine Wambui and father to Michelle Nyawira, Edwin Kinyua and Clare Mwihaki.

Brother to the late Bertha Mugo, Ruth Muriithi, Eliud Mwai, Beatrice Wangari, John Mwai, Gitonga Muriithi, Judith Wamina, Patrick Wachira, Mary Wairi, Joseph Mugo, Jane Wambui and Lazarus Gakuru.

Brother-in-law to the late Lazarus Mugo, Dr Dan Muriithi, Leah Mwai, Richard Muriuki, Loice Mwai, Beatrice Wainoi, Caroline Wachira,Wairi Kamenwa, Margaret Githagui, Kennedy Githinji and Eva Njeri. He was also an uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Friends and family are meeting daily at their home in Kaguyu, Kerugoya Town from 4:00pm.

The cortege will leave ACK Mt Kenya Funeral Home, Kerugoya on 9th June 2023 at 9:00am for the service and burial at their home.
