It is with great saddens that we announce the demise of Mr. Bernard Nyaga Mwea.

He is son to Njeru Mwea, the late Veronica Weveti and Elizabeth Gacheke. Son-in-law to the late Japheth Gichonjo and Peninnah Gikiri.

Husband to Perris Igandu Mwea. Father to Dr. Macharia Mwea and Jeff Mwea. Father-in-law to Jerioth Mumbi and Mercy Agunda. Loving grandfather to Lisa, Wambui, Halley, Hazel, Ethan and Kenna.

Brother to Prof S.K. Mwea, the late Jacinta, Kathuri, Wegoki, Njoki, Njiru, Ireri, Kanini, Muthoni, Florence. Step-brother to Lucy, Mwaniki, Muriithi, the late Muriuki, Njue, Marigu, Ireri and Wandiri.

He is brother-in-law to, Eleanor, Ndwiga, Kamuruana, Damaris, Esther, Gichema, Anne, Sheila, the late Nthiga, Rachel, the late Jenifer, Nderi, the late Malonza, Waweru and Ken. Munyi, Jose, Wanja, the late Kinyua, Warue, Njuguna, Wambui, Rwamba, Wambura, Muthanje, Njeru, Prisca.

Meetings continue in the home at Kithimu (located next to the Dispensary at Kithimu (Market), from 4.00pm.

The cortege will leave Gakwegori Funeral Home on Wednesday 15th February, 2023 at 8.00am. Burial and funeral service will be held at their Kithimu home (Kao) from 10.00am.
