BERNARD WAHOME MWAI

8th February, 1969 — 4th August, 2021

It is with profound sadness that the Management and Staff of Meru University of Science and Technology (MUST), announce the demise of Bernard Wahome Mwai on Wednesday, 4th August, 2021 at the Nairobi Womens’ Hospital, Meru branch. Until his demise, Bernard Mwai served as a Lecturer and Chairman of the Department of Agriculture.

Son of the late Peter Mwai and Susan Wamuyu Mwai. Husband to Hanna Wanjiku (Karumo Technical Training Institute). Son-in-law to the late Musa John Kimemia and the late Josephine Nungari Kimemia (Limuru, Kiambu County). A loving father of Millicent Wamuyu (Meru National Polytechnic), Moses Mwai (Mang’u High School) and Mercy Nungari (Meru Saleem Academy). Brother to Martha Mwihaki, Isaac Gichuki and Nancy Wanjiku. Brother-in-law to Dr. Joseph Kang’ara Kimemia (KARLO headquarters), Elijah Mbogo Thuo, Milka Gichuki and many others.

Loving uncle and cousin to many.

Family and friends are meeting at his home in Kasuku ol jorok and at Blue Towers hotel Makutano, Meru County daily at 5.30pm for burial preparations.

The funeral service and burial will be held at his farm in Kasuku Nyandarua County, Ol jorok Location, Gatumbiro Sub-location, on Wednesday 11th August, 2021.
