It is with profound grief and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Bernice Grace Nduku Mutie, which occurred on Thursday 9th February, 2023.

Beloved wife of Joshua Mulungu Mutie. Cherished mother to Sharon Mwende and Matthew Mwendwa. Mother-in-law to Eva Mwendwa. Beloved grandmother to Jason, Bradley and Jabari.

Daughter to the late Mbiti lkandi and the last born daughter of the late Sarah Mutio Mbiti. Sister to the late David Mwonge Mbiti, Ruth Kimonyi, Rose Mulu, the late Rael Ndeto, the late Joshua Mutunga Mbiti, the late John Mwatu Mbiti, the late Daniel Mbiti, Joseph Mbiti, the late Rev Sammy Mbiti and Tabitha Kivindyo.

Sister-in-law to the late Muendo, Kavata and Alice, the late Mwenze, the late Mukonyo and Grace, the late Mutua and Kalee, the late Mukui Kiamuko, Peter and the late Loise, the late Katumo and Phillis, the late Mbolonzi and Ndulo, the late Kilonzi and the late Ziphorah, Kiteta and Mwikali, Joseph and Geraldine, Susan Mbiti, Loise Mutunga, Elizabeth Mwatu,Alice Mbiti, Joan Mbiti, Rosalia Mbiti, among others.

Daily meetings are being held at Holy Family Basilica from 5:30 and at their Wamunyu, Machakos residence.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home – Machakos, on Friday 17th February, 2023 at 8.00am, followed by a funeral service and burial at their home in Wamunyu, Machakos.
