Beth Njoki Irungu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Beth Njoki Irungu (also known as mama Kuria) of Githiga Location, Kangema Division, Murang’a, which occurred on 28th April 2020, after a very long illness bravely fought.

Beth Njoki was the daughter of the late Hoseah Muchugu Warui and the late Rebecca Wairimu. Sister of the late Esther Gathoni, the late Warui, the late Joel Muya , the late Samson Kamau, Mercy Waithera, the late Peninah Waruinu, the late Thomas Kamuri and Simon Munyiri. Loving wife of the late Joseph Irungu Muthoga. Mother of the late Peter Kuria, the late Cecilia Njeri, Perister Wairimu, Hoseah Muchugu (of Betabest/ Kenice Investment), Raphael Chege, the late Luka Warui, John Kaimuru, artist Antony Muya, Samson Kamau, Esther Gathoni and the late Silvester Mwigoti. Mother-in-law of Loice Muchugu, Mrs. Muya, Mrs. Warui, Mrs. Kaimuru and others. She leaves behind 22 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

The cortege shall leave Kiriaini Funeral home on Monday 4th May 2020, at 8am for burial at her home in Githiga. In keeping with the current Government directive, the burial will be limited to the number of people allowed to congregate.

It is the Almighty God who gave us Beth Njoki, and the same God who has called her into Glory. May His name be praised.
