It is with deep sorrow that we announce the demise of Bibiana Lucy Njeri Murugami (Nyina wa Tony) of Tharuni, Limuru Sub-location, Kiambu County that occurred on 27th February, 2022.

Daughter of the late John Munyui and the late Justina Wanjiru of Ikinu, Githunguri sub county.

Cherished wife of Mwalimu Geoffrey Murugami. Sister of the late Peter Kimonye, Maria Munyui, Regina Wairimu Hilary, the late Joseph Gathure, Margaret Gitau and Teresia Wamithi.

Mother of Anthony Kimani (KCB), Robert Munyui (Business Man Limuru), Caroline Gitonga (Ngenia Leather), Martin Ndungu Wachira (USA) and Hon. Joseph Njenga Murugami (Former MCA, Limuru Central).

Mother-in-Law to, Sophia Waithira Kimani (Jumuia), Susan Munyui (Headteacher Rwacumari Primary School), John Gitonga (SK), Sabina Njeri Ndungu (USA) and Elizabeth Nyambura Njenga (CBK). Grandmother of Geoffrey M. Kimani, Steven N. Kimani, Jenevieve Kimani, Bibiann N. Munyui, Geoffrey M. Munyui, Stephen & Sarah Kimani Gitonga, Geoffrey M. Gitonga, David M. Gitonga, Anthony K. Gitonga, Celine N. Ndung’u, Geoffrey M. Njenga and Elsie N. Njenga. Great grandmother of Caroline Wangeri Kimani.

Friends and relatives are meeting at the family home in Tharuni, Limuru every day from 2:00 pm.

The cortege leaves Lee funeral home on Wednesday, 9th March, 2022 at 8:00 am for a funeral mass service at St Joseph Catholic Church Tharuni and thereafter burial at her home in Tharuni.
