It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Bishop ACC Julius Ongwae Onyancha who went to be with lord on 26/06/2024 while in India.

By the time of his demise, he served as the Assistant County Commissioner (ACC) of Kakamega County.

Son of lates Meshack Onyancha and Mama Yunes Onyancha. Step-son of Nyakerario.

Loving husband of Teresa Kerubo Oyugi (Deputy Head-teacher Kapruwok Primary School).

Loving father of Reuben Ongwae (AMREF), Faith Nyanchama, Esther Ongwae.

Brother of Magare, Joyce, Samson (Rtd AP), Agnes (Rtd KDF), Yungo (Rtd KDF), the late Naom, George, Kebaso, Benard (KDF Navy), Pst Evans, Daniel, Job, Hyline, Isabella.

Brother-in-law of Samuel, Oyugi, Mary, Pamela, Rachel, Isabella, Rebecca, Caren, Ruth, Eunice, Sarah, Night, Irene. Cousin of Maisiba, Ombuna, Mokaya, Omwenga, Nyabuti, Charles Ongwae (USA), Pst Tom, Jones Ogeto, Ndemo Kaburi, Pst George.

Family members are meeting daily at his home Kitale and Nyamira.

The cortege leaves Crystal Cottage Mortuary on 18/07/2024 for funeral service at Ndura stadium Kibomet and laid to rest on 19/07/2024 at his Home in Bidii Location, Kitale, Kwanza Constituency.
