BISHOP DR. BENJAMIN KIPRUTO MAIYWA

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the peaceful transition to glory of Bishop Dr. Benjamin Kipruto Maiywa who passed on in his sleep in the early morning of Tuesday, 30th May, 2023.

He was the firstborn son of the late Kimaiywa Kipsolia and the late Rosebella Cherop Kemei.

He was husband to the late Agnes Kipruto, father to Clara Madil, Faith Maiywa, Joy Oyuka, Mercy Alela, and the late John Kipkoech Ruto. Father-in-law to Antony Madil, Benard Oyuka, Benjamin Anangwe. Grandfather to Alma Madil, Sankara Nungo, Nathan Oyuka, Jesse Oyuka, Nathan Alela, and Chad Alela.

Brother to Daniel Kipkemei Simatei, the late Christina Chepkosgei Lagat, Consolata Chemaiyo Muvea, the late John Kipkemboi, Joseph Kiplagat Solia and Judith Cherubet.

Brother-in-law to Ishmael Kimetto, the late Lily Kirui, the late Chepkorir, Nancy Maina, the late John Kimetto, Hellen Maina, Lorna Maina,Wilfred Kimetto, Roselyne Maina and Leonard Kimetto.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily from 5.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements at his residence in Kericho Town.

The cortege leaves Lazarus Funeral Home (Siloam), Kericho on Tuesday, 6th June, 2023 at 9.00am for a funeral service at Kericho Green Stadium at 10.00 am and thereafter to be laid to rest at his Keongo home.

Bishop Benjamin Kipruto loved the Lord, He served the Lord and He has gone to be with the Lord.
