We are deeply saddened to announce the passing on of Bishop Johnstone Kipkemoi Cheruiyot of Mabwain Village, Kapsogut Location Bureti Sub County on 18/11/2020. Johnstone was the Assistant Bishop of AIC South Rift Area & Chairman Bureti West Region.

Husband to Pr. Grace Cheruiyot (Kapsogut Primary). Father to Jackline Sang’, Noah Kiprono Kirui — Montana (USA), late Collins Kipkirui & Nehemiah Kibet Kirui. Father in law to Gideon Sang’ and Ruth Kirui — Montana (USA) He was the last-born of the late William Cheruiyot Cheronye & late Rael Tapmingoi Cheronye.

Brother to the late Sofia Mining (Obot Emily),’ Raeli Chepkwony (Obot Alice), the late John Cheruiyot (20), Sarah Kigen, Julius Cheruiyot, Grace Chumo, Zeddy Tirop & Joshua Cheruiyot. Son-in-law to Mr. & Mrs. Daniel & Ruth Milgo – Ngesumin. Brother-in-law to late Mary, Christine Cheruiyot (Kap 20), Irene Cheruiyot, Janeth Cheruiyot, the late Ezekiel, Richard Tonui, Roseline, Janet, Nelson, Weldon, Joyce & Mercy. Grandfather to Neville Kipngeno.

The cortege will leave AIC Litein Mission Hospital Mortuary on Friday 27/11/2020 at 11.00am for a memorial Service at AIC Bureti West Region – Ainapset, Cheborge from 12.00pm.

Funeral is on Saturday 28/11/2020 from 09.00am at Kapsogut Primary School.
