BISHOP REV. HARRISON AKONGO ANYANGO

It is with deep sorrow, shock, and disbelief that we announce the sudden death of our beloved dad Bishop Rev. Harrison Akongo Anyango, a supply minister with the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania. At the time of his death, he worked at St. Augustine of Hippo in Norristown, Pennsylvania, USA.

He was the son of the late Mzee Anyango Dok and Mama Teresa Ouma of Kadok Village. Husband of the late Yucabeth Anyango and later remarried Carolyn Benter Achieng. He was the father of Dr. Walter Odhiambo Anyango, Dean of School of Dental Sciences, University of Nairobi, Hellaine Anyango- Johnson, Apollo Anyango, Lynette Anyango-Nyamunde, Janet Anyango-Ologi, Dora Anyango-Kute, Christine Anyango and Eric Kai Anyango.

Brother of the late Samuel Ben Odoyo, the late Joseph Omullo, Elsa Aganyo Obaria, the late Doris Achieng Orinde, Rose Ojwang Otieno, Jane Odero, Maren Aseno and Salina Atyang. He was the father-in-law of the late Gordon Ondiek, Frank Nyamunde, Walter Ologi, Isaac Kute, Seth Ombija, Catherine, Esther and Rose.

Brother-in-law of the late P.C. Orinde, the late Enos Obaria, the late Peter Otieno, Peter Odero Akoko, Mary Odoyo, Margaret Odoyo, Teresa Omulo and the late Jane Odoyo. Grandfather of Gloria, Harry, Ruby, Tom, Cliff, Carl, Myra, Elton, Beth, lmani, Shawn, Nigel, Kimberly, Giggs, Beth, Carlton, Terry, Angel, Amor, Telna and Labaraka.

A memorial service for the celebration of a life well-lived will be held at Homabay Cathedral (ACK), on Friday July 9th, 2021, from I 0:00 a.m.

Burial is scheduled for Monday, July 12th, at Kadok Village, Ouko Ondenge Sub-locaton Kibiri Ward, Karachuonyo, Homabay County.
