BISHOP SAMUEL GAKUO KURIA

1942 – 2021

It is with profound humility and acceptance of God’s will that we the family of Bishop Samuel Galcuo Kuria, announce promotion to heavenly glory of our Father, Bishop Samuel Gakuo Kuria of Deliverance Church, Riruta, which occurred on the 26th March 2021, at the Karen Hospital.

The late Bishop Gakuo was the loving husband to Rev. Emily Wambui Gakuo (Mama Kuria), and father to Jonathan Kuria (UK), Gitau Gakuo (UK) Mureithi Gakuo (USA), Mbusua Gakuo (Kenya), Henia Gakuo (Kenya), Wambui Kamura (Kenya) and Matthew Kariuki Gakuo (UK).

Son of the late Eliud Kuria Gakuo (Lay Reader, ACK Wanierere, and the late Marion Wambui Kuria of Wanierere, Murang’a county.

Brother to Helen Nyambura Nyagah (Kirinyaga), Keziah Murugi Mureithi (Eldoret), Gabriel Waiganjo Kuria (Wanierere, Murang’a), Benjamin Njuguna (UK) and Cyrus Kuria (USA).

Burial will be on 2nd April 2021, 9.00 a.m. at Nairobi Langata cemetry. Burial service will be at the grave side.
