BISHOP SAMUEL MWITI MUCHAI

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Rtd, Bishop Samuel Mwiti Muchai, of the Methodist Church of Kenya on 1st June, 2020 after a long illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Isaiah M’twerandu Muchai and the late Hellen Mukokinya M’twerandu. Son-in-law of the late Silas M’marete M’rimberia and the late Margaret Nchoro M’marete. Loving husband of Mrs. Dorothy Makandi Mwiti. Father of Mercy Ntinyari, Grace Gatwiri, Mark Mwenda, Kanana Njuguna and Alfred Kimathi. Father-in-law of Eng. Kevin Njuguna, Rachel Wanjiru and Martin Bundi. Grandfather of Shanice Nkirote, Shirley Gakii and Porsha Kinya. Brother of Davidson Kimaita, the late Stephen Mwongera, Solomon Matumbl and Mary Mugambi. Brother-in-law of the late Silas Mugambi, Joseph Kiruki Marete and Joshua Muriithi Marete.

The cortege will leave St. Theresa Mission Hospital, Kiirua Funeral Home at 8am on Saturday 6th June, 2020 for burial at his home at Gitimbine, Meru.
