BONIFACE MWANGANGI MATHEKA

1951 – 2021

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sad demise of our dad Mr. Boniface Mwangangi Matheka which occurred on Monday 15th March, 2021, after a short illness.

Son of the late Mbuyi Matheka and the late Theresia Kyee. Loving husband of Rachael Nthenya. Father of Ben Muia, Anthony Mbuvi, Terry Kyee, Juliana Mbeti, Gedion Mulwa and Faith Kalee.

Brother of Patrick Mutuku, Stephen Mwaka, Winnie Kalee Phillip and Rose Mbinya. Brother-in-law of Kyule, Danny, Mutuku, Alice, the late Beth Mutuku, the late Hellen Mwaka and Bernard Phillip Kilonzo, among others. Uncle of Ndinda, Maggy, Musyoka, Martin, Terry, Muia, Rede, Colletta, Judy, among others. Grandfather of Stephanie, Nishan, Valentine, Kylie. Ruth and many others.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Mortuary -Machakos on Wednesday 24th March, 2021 at 7.30am. Thereafter there will be mass at St. Mary’s Catholic Church – Tala, at 11.00am, followed by burial at his home in Tala, Machakos County.

You have fought a good fight and you have kept the faith. Fare thee well Dad , till we meet again .
