CANON PETER MACHIRA KIHORO

It is with the humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Canon Peter Machira Kihoro on Monday 7th November 2022 after a long illness.

He was the son of the late Joseph Kimere Machira & the late Rebecca Wanjiru Kimere and the late Mary Wanjiku Kimere. Canon Machira was the beloved husband of Mrs Rachael Machira and a loving father to Dorothy Machira & Kimani Kamau (USA), Timothy Machua & Frashia Karongo (USA), Rev. Paul Machira & Joan Machira, Faith Machira &James Murage and the late Eunice Machira.

Brother to Cecilia Kioria, Magdalene Kamau, the late Stanley Mugo, Dorcas Wagechi, Mugo wa Kihoro, Joyce Wambui, Jennifer Waruinu, Richard Mugo, Pauline Wanjeri and Jennifer Muthoni.

Grandfather to Kamau and Machira Kimani, Wangari, Reggie and Isaiah Floor, Kihoro, Machira, Wangari and Mwangi Kariuki.

Friends and family are meeting daily for prayers at the family home at Kenyatta Road in Juja, and at 5.30pm at The All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi.

There will be a Memorial Service at the All Saints Cathedral Nairobi on Tuesday, 15th November 2022 from Noon, and the funeral will take place on Thursday, 17th November 2022 at the family home in Kiawambogo Village, Rwathia, Kangema Sub-County, Muranga County.
