CAROLINE ANYANGO JURA

It is with profound sorrow, and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Caroline Anyango Jura (formerly of the USA) on 12th November 2020 due to leukemia.

Daughter of the late Pius Jura Omamo, and the late Bendetta Abonyo Jura. Loving mother of Jael Atieno, Joseph Omondi (Bob), the late Lillian Achieng, Clifton Jura, Cynthia Awuor, Brian Otieno and Diana Maena. Mother in law of Grace Olwa, Jackie Keriako, and Naomi Ochieng. Step mother of Fredrick, Rehema, Petro, David and Shirley. Loving grandmother of Macdonald Omondi ,Viaoc Jura, Bahati Jura, Mark Otieno, Adrian Omondi, Alvin Ajani, Nicole Otieno and Precious Omondi. Sister to Gilbert Oketch, Celine Auma, Elizabeth Ongaro, the late Charles Oyugi, Gabriel Jura (Nyabondo Secondary), the late Peter Omondi, Michael Jura (CMC Motors Group), and Vivian Onyango (St. Francis Kisigame Secondary). Niece and cousin to the Jumas, Oseros, Owitchs. Olendos, Olungas and Nyamogos.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Old Doonholm estate. A major fundraising meeting will be held on Tuesday 24th November 2020 at the All Saints Cathedral from 5:00pm.

The Nairobi funeral service will take place on 26th November 2020 at the Internationai Christian Centre, Nairobi West Campus. Mombasa road (near Nyayo Stadium) from 10.00am – 11I:00am.

The cortege leaves Nairobi West Hospital Mortuary on Friday 27th November 2020. The service and burial will take place on 28th November 2020 at her home in Uyundo Village, Alego North, Siaya County.
