CAROLINE KANONO MUTHURI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Caroline Kanono Muthuri after a long illness, who until her demise was a teacher at Makueni Girls High School.

Daughter of John Muriungi Kuuru and Esther Karundu Muriungi of Mankaau Village,Tharaka North-Sub county,Tharaka Nithi County. Step-daughter of Jemina Mwende.

Loving wife of Patrick Muthuri Kwenga (Makueni Level V Hospital) and mother of Brian Muthomi, Evans Mwenda and Macrine Munyi; all of ACK Wote Primary School.

Daughter-in-law of the late Fidelis Kwenga and Theodora Munyi Kwenga. Sister of Eric Murerwa, Lenah Karema, Peter Gitonga and Johnson Kimathi.

Sister-in-law of  Emmanuel Mucee Kwenga, Jovana Mucee, Cecilia Mutegi, Sabiniano Mutegi Gakabu, Felister Karii, Albert Mwithi, Sr. Josephine Kwenga (Sisters of St. Joseph of Tarbes), Nazario Nyamu (Tharaka University), Lilian Nazario, Prof. Colomba Kaburi Muriungi (Chuka University), Prof. Peter Kinyua Muriungi (VC Tharaka University), Faustine Kwenga, Felista Muthoni, the late Lydia Kawira, Moses Kirimi, Edward Kimathi and Mercy Gacheri.

She was a niece, a cousin and auntie to many.

The cortege leaves Cool Breeze Funeral Home, Meru on Saturday 21st September, 2024 at 8.30am for a burial mass at 1.00pm at her home in Rwatha Village (Gatunga), Tharaka North Sub-County, Tharaka Nithi County.
