It is with great sadness that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved mother, Caroline Mumbi Wangombe Muigai on the 9th of December 2020 at M.P. Shah Hospital. She was a devoted member of CITAM Valley Rd and former employee of Serena Hotels & Lodges, Unga feeds Ltd, CocaCola Nairobi, UNHCR and founder of Bridgeway Centre Trust in Kawangware.

Loving friend and wife to Col. (Rtd) Stephen N. Muigai formerly of The Kenya Air Force and Kenya Forest Service. Loving mother to Judy Wangu and Eric Nganga (USA), Lydia Njambi, Jenny Ngendo, and Stephanie Njeri. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Alioune, Njeri, Kyle and Mumbi. Daughter of the Late Geoffery Njogu (Wangombe) and the Late Esther Wacuka and a cherished sister to Nelson Ndegwa (USA), Purity Wanjiru, the Late Patrick Karingithi and Lucy Njeri, Millicent Wandia and Mugo Ruthiru, Crispus Njogu and Njoki, Mercy Wairimu and Pius Thiga (USA). Daughter in law to the Late Peter Muigai Chege and Alice Ngendo Muigai. She was a loving sister in law to Hannah Njeri Gitau, the Late Daniel Mwaura, Gladys Wairimu, Geoffrey Ndichu, Samuel Gitau, the Late Josephat Ngige, and Isaiah Njuguna. She was a light in this world, touched many lives and we will all dearly miss her.
