It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s Will that we announce the promotion to glory of CATHERINE WANGARI KAHIA on the 26th June, 2023. She went to be with The Lord after a short illness.
She hails from Kagaa Village, Lari Division, Kiambu County.
Wife of the late Wellington Kahia Njuguna.
Daughter of the late Jomo Gicanga and the late Wambui wa Jomo.
Sister to the late Kellen Mwara, the late Pauline Njeri, the late Gladwell Gathoni, and the late Virginia Mugure.
Mother of Eva Wanjiru, the late Moses Njuguna, Olive and DL Mwangi, Joyce and Joseph Claudio, Peter and Alice Njomo, Karen and Francis Thuo, Morris and Faith Githwe, Anne and Billy Sialo, David Gicanga, Virginia and Hillary Katee. Grandmother and great-grandmother to many.
Meetings and prayers are taking place daily at Thindigua Estate, Kiambu and at her home in Kagaa from 5.00pm.
The cortege leaves the Lee Funeral Home on Wednesday 5th July, 2023 at 8:00am for the funeral service and burial ceremony at her Kagaa home in Kiambu County.
We thank God for a life well lived and praise His name now and forever. Amen!
