It’s with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved mother, Catherine Wawuda Maghanga at Kenyatta National Hospital on 9/07/2024 from a short illness bravely borne.

She was a beloved daughter of the Late Retired Chief Chrispine Mwashuke and the Late Delphina Mughambi.

Wife of the late John Maghanga Mwandighi.

Mother of Elizabeth Wanjala, Chrispine Mwashuke, Herman Mwandighi, Lucas Mwashuma and Christine Mughambi.

She was Mother-in-law of Erick Kariuki, Cynthia Musango, Anna Mshai, Rita Wafula, Rodgers Kitindi.

Grandmother of Herbert Maghanga, Joan Kariuki, Talisa Mwashuke, Catherine Wawuda, Jason Maghanga, John Maghanga, Catherine Wawuda Kariuki, Lukundo Mwashuke, Evans Mbogho, Regina Caeli.

Step-daughter of Philomena Mwashuke. Niece of Elizabeth Mwakio.

Sister of Sabina Wakio Christine Wabosha, Defence Sanguli, Polycarp Kilemba, Julius Mwarigha, Hisdory Mwakio, Jane Waleghwa, Ernestina Wawuda, Sylviah Mawondo, Gladys Mkakisha.

She was a Cousin, relative and a friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily from 5.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangement at Syokimau

The burial date is on 20/07/2024, at Lushangonyi area of Wundanyi Constituency.
