It is with profound sorrow that the family of the late Joseph Maingi announces the passing on of our beloved mother, friend and counsellor on Saturday 22nd August 2020, at Machakos Level 5 Hospital after a long illness bravery born.

Daughter of the late Kalondu and Nzomo Ngunga. Wife of the late Joseph Maingi. Mother of John (Ikutha), late Boniface Mutie, Daniel Kavoi (Machakos), Fr. Josphat Makau (St. Jude parish, Athi/River), Steve Maingi (Huruma flats, Nairobi ) and Josphine Ngina. Sister of late Kilonzo, Teresia Wanza, late Kitavi, Jackson and the late Johnson. Mother in-law of Agnes, Zippora and Maria. Cousin of Joel Kioko (formerly KEBS), Peter Maondu (Kyua, Nthei Kenya Police – Thika). Aunty of Barnabas, Kapu,Dominic, Muasya, Lucy, Mutuku,Mary, Mbii among others. Grandmother of Monthe, Samuel, Tito, Macharia, Robert, Owen, Oliver among others. Great grandmother of Hope, Shantel and two others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Machakos on Tuesday 1St September, 2020 at 8:00 am for a requiem mass at St Joseph’s Kithangaini Catholic Parish starting 10:00am and thereafter burial at her home Kithuluni village, Mithanga, Vyulya location, Masii ward, Machakos county.
