CECILIA WANJIRU MURIITHI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Cecilia Wanjiru Muriithi of Thunguma Village, Thunguma Location, Nyeri County.

Daughter to the late John Muriithi (Karebi) and the late Alice Wangui.

Wife to the late Andrew Muriithi Githiomi. Mother to Eunice Nyambura Kariuki (Boiman), George Mwangi Muriithi (Chief officer department of Trade, Tourism, Culture & Cooperative Development, County Government of Nyeri), Eunice Muthoni (Nyeri Open Air Market), Mary Ngonyo (Ruring’u), Consolata Wangechi (Old Mutual Nyeri) and Jedidah Ngima (Dubai).

Sister to Charles Nderitu (Karandi, Ng’arua, Laikipia County), Consolata Gathoni and Francis Ngatia (Kigwandi,Tetu).

Mother-in-law to Jane Muthoni (Nyewasco).

Sister-in-law to Francis Cumari (Thunguma), Purity Ngima (Naromoru), the late Ann Wambui (Karindundu, Karatina) and the late Mary Ngonyo (Skuta,Nyeri). Aunt, Cousin and friend to many. Grandmother and great grandmother to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her Thunguma Home, Nyeri County starting at 4.30pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Mathari Hospital Mortuary Nyeri on Tuesday, 30/5/2023 at 7.30am for funeral service and burial thereafter at her home in Mwakinya Village, Karai, Ngarinyiro, Laikipia County.
