It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Charity Muthoni (Nyina wa Njega) of Miumbuini, Muruguru on 1st October 2021.

Daughter of late Esther Nyakinyua and late Mwangi Gakungu of Githi location. Wife to late Peter Nderi. Sister to Grace Wairimu and the late; Karuga and Watiri. Mother of Pst Pauline (RAM, Githurai), Adv. James Nderi (Nderi and Kiingati Advocates), Dr. Caroline Nderi (KU), Fredrick Mwangi (Kariaini Secondary), Mercy Murugi, David Gichohi and Penis Watiri (Tumaini Secondary OrKalau). Mother in love to Pst. Joseph Njoroge, Joyce Muthoni, Adv. Mwaura Ngugi, Naomi Nyawira, Caroline Wanpra and Ezra Ndarera.

Grandmother to Abigail and Angela; Edna, Muthoni, Albert, Leshan, Israel and Utugi; Joy and Patience; Hope and Happiness; Austin and Zoe; Kerubo and James among others.

Meetings are being held daily at Ibis Hotel-Nyeri from 6:00pm and at her home from 4:00pm.

The cortege leaves Nyeri funeral home (Outspan) on Thursday 7th October 2021 @ 8:30 am. Thereafter, funeral service will be held at Muruguru Primary school followed by the burial ceremony at her farm.

May she rest in the everlasting arms.
