It is with profound shock and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Charles Gitahi Githogori of Kalalu village Umande Location, Daiga Division, Laikipia County, on 20/03/2021 at Outspan Hospital Nyeri.

Son of the late Esther Muthoni Gitahi. Brother of Grandstone Wahome (Nanyuki), Peter Ndiritu (Nairobi), Zipporah Wairimu (Othaya), Catherine Wanjiru (Kiawara – Mweiga) and Wilson Mariu (Kiawara Mweiga). Husband of Lucy Njoki Gitahi. Father of Morris Muriithi Gitahi, Sofia Muthoni Gitahi and Manuella Wanjiru Gitahi.

Son-in-law of the late William Mugo Kibaara and Joyce Nyawira Mugo. Brother-in-law of Elizabeth (Italy), the late Kibaara, Wairimu, Maim, Beatrice and Githaga. Nephew of Christopher Ndegwa, Francis Wambugu Gitahi, Susan Wambui Gitaari, Reagan Mucheml Gitahi, among others. A cousin and uncle to many.

The cortege leaves Outspan Nyeri Funeral Home, on Wednesday 24th March, 2021, at 7:30am and there after the church service and burial will be at his home, Kalalu (Maili Nane Shopping Centre), at 10:00am.

In God’s hands you rest, In our hearts you remain forever. May his name be glorified.
