CHARLES MWANGI KAGONIA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we regret to announce the death of Mr Charles Mwangi Kagonia, formerly of Diamond Trust Bank Kenya Ltd that occurred after a short illness at Aga Khan Hospital.

Husband of Pauline Wangui Mwangi (formerly of ILRI). Son of the late Dennis Kagonia & the late Elidah Wairimu. Son-in-law of the late James Muiruri & the late Grace Njeri. Loving father of Grace Waweru (Citibank), Elidah Wairimu (UN Vienna), Lucy Karanja Simply Ideal), Dennis Kagonia (IRC) and Jean Wambui (Naivas). Father-in-law of Johnson Waweru, Chris Karanja, Dorcas Kagonia and lay Odari.

Brother of Lucy Mugunda, Agnes Wanjiku, Susan Wambui, the late Kennedy Kabera, the late Evelyn Wanjiru, Robinson Kagonia, and Linda Muthoni. Brother-in-law of Nelson Mugunda, Elias Karumi, Trizah Mumbi, Mary Ruguru, Hudson & Nancy Njuguna, the late Winnie Muthoni and John & Jane Githinji. Grandfather of Imani, Lisa, Jason, Sky, Elianna, Amani, Ivanna, Elsie and Naila. An uncle and cousin to many.

The cortege leaves KU University Funeral Home, at 8.00am on Thursday 1st April, 2021, for a funeral service at his home in Kamune village, Muranga county starting 11.00am.
