Son of the late Thiomi Waithaka and the late Nyambura Thiomi and. Gathoni Thiomi. Husband of Mary Gathoni Njuguna. Father of David Thiomi, Daniel Kinyua, Stephen Waithaka and Anne Nyambura. Brother of Justus Waithaka, Njeri Mukira, Njugu Karanja, Kibui Kamithi, the late Gathanga, and Jesse Kiiru. Step-brother of Francis Waithaka, Charles Gichimu, Samuel Keeru, John Kaboga, Samson Njuguna and Jesse Githaiga (All late). Uncle of Gachugi Mukira, Mwangi Karanja, Ngahu Waithaka, Kimaru Keeru, David Mwangi, Robert Njuguna among others. Grandfather of Wesley, Liam, Joy, Sandra, Schola and Gathoni.

Funeral service and prayers will be at his home in Kagicha farm on Wednesday 5/9/2020 starting at 11.00a.m.
