The General Secretary and the National Executive Council are saddened to announce the passing on of Bro. Charles Oduory Egesa (2nd Deputy General Secretary).

Son to the late Mr. Lawrence Egesa and the late Mama Felister Auma. Son-in-law to the late Andera Juma and the late Dorina Juma, Joyce Wanyama.

Husband to Maxmilla A. Oduory and the late Lilian Oduma. Father to Godrick Onyango, Gaines Oduor, Aquiline Adhiambo, Lorian Wandera, Maryjane Nabwire, Faisan Egesa, Lawrence Egesa and Fenwick Egesa.

Father-in-law to Priscila Olwalo, Sylivia Namachi and Jane Nafula.

Brother to Faustina Nyongesa, Wilbroda Awino, Selina Anyango, Kenneth Oloo and Jane Ajiambo.

Brother-in-law to Margret Taka, Slyvia Nabwire the late Sylvester Olago, the late Orubia, the late Cosmos Ojiambo,
Rose, the late Patrick, the late Atieno, Joseph, Aggrey, Hellen, Antony Annet, Ben and Kato.

Nephew to the late Flora and Agnes Manyuru.

Uncle to Lilian Olago, Francis Olago, James Majiwa, Lawrence Egesa, Fedinant Ojiambo, Dennis Etiang’, Millicent Etiang’, Esther Etiang’, Lavender Anyango, Metrine Maloba, lan Maloba. Chrisantus Wabwire, Issac Omoro,Ann Ajiambo, Felister, Tabitha, Martha Philister, Justina and Winnie.

Grandfather to Lincon Egesa, Mac Mtimba, Talia and Malia, Hansel Manyuru, Jaylyne Oduory, Raine Awour, Thoedore, Morgan, Ethan Egesa, Janelle and Darian among others.

Friends and relatives meet daily at his home in Joska-Kamulu (Kware) for daily prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Referral funeral home on 25% January, 2024 to his home in Joska-Kamulu for viewing thereafter to his rural home in Busia County, Matayos Sub-County, Matayos South Ward, Nang’oma Location, Murende Sub-Location, Namikoye Village for an overnight vigil and Burial on 27th January, 2024,
