It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Engineer Charles Patrick Kariuki Thiong’o – Geospatial Engineer with Kenya Power and Lighting Company – KPLC of Naromoru Location, Ndiriti Sub Location (Lenena /Blueline Village) at, Pope John Paul II — Huruma Health Center Nanyuki on the 29th of March 2020.

Son of the late John Patrix Thiong’o and the late Josephine Lucy Wangui Thiong’o. He was the son in law of Anthony Kaigai and Irene Wamaitha. Loving Husband of Jane Muthoni, Father of Boniface Thiong’o, Francis Kaigai and Clarence Gitonga.

A cherished brother of the late Patrick Kamau, Daniel Irungu, (the late David Kahiga, David Kimondo) Paul Kinyanjui, Joseph Kanyi, (the late Paul Mwangi), Francis Kamwaro, and Rosemary Loise Muthoni.

Brother in law of Virginia Kamau, Pauline Irungu, Lilian Kinyanjui, Magdalene Kanyi, and Lucy Kamwaro. Uncle of John, Kennedy, Samuel, James, Michael, Mickie, Valerie, Jeremy, David, Ryan Fredrick, Judith, among other great nephews. Grandson, nephew and cousin of many great grandparents, uncles, aunties and cousins.

Cortege leaves The Nanyuki Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 02 April 2020 for burial at his home in Naromoru Location, Ndiriti Sub Location (Lenena /Blueline Village)
