CHARLES WATHIGO KARANJA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Charles Wathigo Karanja (National Treasury Kitui County), which occurred on 29th October, 2020 at Kenyatta National Hospital.

Son of the late Samuel Karanja Gatune and Mary Nyambura Karanja. Beloved husband of Mary Wangui Wathigo (County Commissioner Office Murang’a County). Father of Brian Karanja (Embu University), Faith Nyambura (Mugoiri Girls), and Zipporah Wanjiku (St. James Cathedral Primary Murang’a). Brother of Joseph Gatune, Lydiah Wanginda, the late Josphine Wamaitha, Margaret Wamweru (KPLC), Peter Maina, the late Teresia Wambui and Anthony Gachanja. Son-in-law of the late Ndonga Riika and the late Edith Wanjiku of. Umbui Village Kiria-ini. Uncle of Karanja (Uganda) Timothy (UK) Linda Kamau (Akirachix), Daisy (Limuru), Horsewell (Njiiri School), and Claire. Brother-in-law of Riika Ndonga (Kanjama). Cousin of Jackson Wathigo (Murtown), James Wathigo (Smith & Wathigo & Co. Advocates) Zakaria (Farmers Guide) Amos Gitau, and many others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Murang’a Mukawa and his residence Kiharu Estate from 6.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta National Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday 4th November 2020 at 8am. The funeral service will be held at his home in Thengeini Village Muchungucha Sub-location Murang’a County.
