CHRISTINE MAKENA MAINGI (TINA)

13th December, 1988 — 8th February, 2023

The family of Christine Makena Maingi (Tina), announces with deep sorrow of her untimely death, on February 8th, 2023. At the time of her demise,Tina, was running Curio Travels in Nairobi.

Beloved daughter to Mr. Joseph Thambura Maingi and Mrs Charity Kabirithu Maingi. Dear sister to Muriithi Thambura Maingi (Mureh) and Muchui Thambura Maingi (Uchu). Sister-in-law to Milkah Wangari and Ines Mallmann.

Loving granddaughter to the late M’Imaingi M’Ithula, Ciobaibaya M’Imaingi (Yaaya), the late M’Ithili M’Thirari and the late Ciominyori M’Ithili.

Coolest Aunty to Shelby Kendi Muriithi and Toa Mwenda Muchui and many more. Tina has many Uncles and Aunts and remains a special cousin and friend to many.

Family and friends shall be meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements starting Monday 13th February, 2023 at Cardinal Otunga Hall, Holy Family Basilica, punctually from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.

There will be a Requiem Mass at MCK Ruaraka Methodist Church on Thursday 16th February, 2023 at 11.00am.

The Funeral service shall be held on Saturday 18th February 2023 at MCK Ilia Ria Nguu Church at Nchoro Sub-location, Akithii Ward, Tigania West Constituency, Meru County at 12.00 noon. Christine Makena Maingi will then be privately interred at their home in Ilia Ria Nguu, Nchoro Sub-location, Akithii Ward, Tigania West Constituency, Meru County.
