Christine Wayeta Molera (Nee Shalo)

We sadly announce the passing on of Christine Wayeta Molera (Nee Shalo), of Equity Bank Kenya; on 11th of May 2020.

She was wife of Roger Molera. Beloved daughter of Prof. Peter Shalo and Selina Naliaka Buyavo-Khisa and step daughter of Edward Barasa Khisa, Lydia Shalo and The Late Sarah Shalo. Daughter-in-law of The Late Caleb Inganji and The Late Erica Inganji. Sister of The Late Eric Khisa, Clive Khisa, The Late Dorothy Khamala, Vivian Khisa, William Khisa, Victoria Khisa, Carol Shalo, Anthony Shalo, Arthur Shalo, Timothy Shalo, Edmond, Jackline, Mildred and Carol. Sister-in-law of David Khamala, Elizabeth, Scarlet Kavaya, The Late Linet Imali, Ruth, James, Reginald and Selwyn. Cousin of Martin Kiveu, Simiyu Kiveu, Robert Buyabo, Micah Shivina, Samson Mukweyi, Caroline Buyabo, Salome Wala, Elizabeth Sirengo, Evelyn Simiyu-Liteli, Christine Songa, Eric Lucheli and Roger Lucheli among others. Niece, aunt and friend of many.

Following long illness, Christine was initially admitted to The Agha Khan University Hospital Nairobi, on December 2019; and, thereafter, Kijabe Mission Hospital, Mediheal Hospital, then Karen Hospital, where she met her demise.

An online memorial service, in honor of Christine, will be conducted on 21st of May by Gospel Centers International, Central, from 2.15pm – 4pm.Thereafter, Christine will be laid to rest at Gavudunyi Village, Vihiga County on 23rd of May.
