CHRISTOPHER JACK MAINA (MWALIMU MKUU CJ)

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Christopher Jack Maina (CJ) of Njoro, Nakuru County, after a short illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Michael Mariga (Mwati) Karobia and the late Lucy Mwihaki Mwati of Gaikuyu Sub-location, Magutu Location, Mathira East, Nyeri County.

Husband to Mrs. Esther Chepkemoi Maina of Ngata, Nakuru County. Father to the late Consolata, Lucy, Nancie, Hellen, Michael, Peter, Agnes, Mary, David and Margaret.

Father-in-law to Bernard, Valerie, Lucy, Maingi, Robert and Teresia.

Brother to Hellen Wanjugu Mwarari, Agnes Wamuyu Wandeto, the late Veronica Wangui Githu, Jecinta Wairimu Ng’ang’a, Peter Mathenge and David Ngari. Brother-in-law, uncle and grandfather to many.

Friends and family are meeting daily in his home in Njoro and Ngata.

The cortege will leave Nakuru Level 5 Mortuary on 6th December, 2023 at 8:00am, for a funeral mass at St. Lwanga Catholic Church – Njoro at 11:00am, Thereafter, he will be laid to rest in Sosiot Farm Njoro, Nakuru County.
