It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr. Christopher Nuthu Kanyi —Wamother born in Chinga, Othaya, Nyeri county, which occurred on Thursday 6th August while undergoing treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital.

The third born son of the late David Kanyi Ndirangu and Lillies Nyambura Kanyi. Husband of Lucy Njeri Nuthu of Umoja I. Father of David Kanyi (CMA), Paul Maina-Shauri Moyo and Lillies Nyambura. Father in-love of Sylvia Wangeci Kanyi, Carol Muthoni and Lawrence Gachau. Loving Grandfather of Gavin Gathanji, Sasha Njeri, Shawn Nuthu, Tyron Nuthu and Daylan Nuthu. Brother of the late Bethwel Ndirangu, George Githaiga, Isaac Mugweru and John Bachia. Brother-in-law of Nelson Irungu, Beatrice Wanjiku, Jecinta Gichimu, John Kihoro and Risper Njeri. Cousin of Wanjru Bachia (US), Kanyi Bachia (US) Kairu Bachia, Ndirangu Nuthu, Kiai Nuthu, Wambui Nuthu, Gathu among others.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home at 8.00a.m for the funeral service and burial on Friday 14th August 2020 at his farm in Ol kalou, Nyandarua County.
