CLARICE ADHIAMBO ALOO (LEAH)

SUNRISE: 21st JAN 1962 – SUNSET: 18th APRIL 2021

We, the Aloo family, regretfully announce the passing of our matriarch, Mama Clarice Adhiambo Aloo of Holo, Nyakach on 18th April 2021 after a short Illness bravely borne.

Mama was predeceased by her loving husband, Rev. Harun H. Aloo; daughter Lucy Aloo; siblings Rose Achieng’, Joyce Sungu and Amos Onyango and parents Rev. Absalom Oketch and Mama WIlfrida Nyanga Oketch of Kuoyo Kasagam in Kisumu.

She is survived by her children Kenneth Aloo, Joel Aloo, Benter Aloo and Benard Aloo; sisters Risper Ngode and Perez Odhlambo; Other siblings Include Rev. Moses Oketch, Jullie, Nelly among others; Grandchildren Emmanuel, Harun Jr., Clarice and Jennifer among many others.

She was a mother to many others including Absalom, Seth, Diana, Florence, Pauline, Sakina, Willis, Lydia, Leah, Jesse, Bertha, Emma, Jasper and WInnie. She was also a mother to Jane Omondi, Betty Oketch, Daisy Owino, Maureen Yake, Rhoda Okoth, Josephine Nyongesa, Emmaculate Jaoko and Mary Odhiambo. She was fondly referred to as Aunty Leah by Millie, Rosemary, Suzanne, Collins, Dick, Noah, Benard, Sheldon, JacklIne, Belinder, Vivian, Maureen, Felly, Oliver, Grace, Rose among others; Sister-In-law to Rev. Gideon Hamisi, Nereah and Ruth.

Mama will be laid to rest on Sunday, 25th April 2021 at their home in Nyakach, Sigoti Location in Holo Village.

The ceremony will be presided over by Nomiya Church in strict observance of the government guidelines on containing the spread of Covid-19.

Mama we loved you more than life. We would have loved to have you with us longer but the God you diligently served all your life saw It best to relieve you of the pain and give you eternal rest. We peg our hopes on the promise of God’s Kingdom and hope to see you again In a world without pain, suffering and anguish.
