CLLR. CYRUS RURU MWAURA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Cllr. Cyrus Ruru Mwaura former chairman Maragua County Council that occurred on Friday 12th March 2021.

Son of the late Harrison Mwaura Gicharu and Beatrice Nduta Mwaura. Husband of Peris Mathii Ruru and the late Damaris Njoki. Father of the late Beatrice Wanjiru, Harrison Mwaura, Ephantus Njoroge, Beatrice Purity Waniiru Ruru and Ann Keziah Mbaire Ruru. Father-in-law of Christopher Kamau Ndung’u and John Kamau Gachora.

Brother of the late Mary Njeri, Michael Gicharu, Susan Nyambura,SalomeWairimu and Solomon Wainaina. Grandfather of Leon Ndung’u Kamau and Lewis Chege Kamau.

Until his demise, he was the chairman of AIPCA Maragua Diocese and National Treasurer of AIPCA Supreme Board.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home Mugecha village, Ngararia Ward, Kandara Sub-county in Murang’a County and Golden Palm Hotel Kenol starting at 4.00 pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Monalisa Montezuma Funeral Home — Kabati on Tuesday 16th March 2021 at 8.00 am followed by funeral service at Kibereke Stadium starting at 10.00 am. Thereafter, interment at his home in Mugecha village, Ng’araria Ward, Murang’a County.

All mourners are advised that Ministry of Health Covid-19 Protocols shall be fully observed.
