COUNCILOR SOLOMON KIGURU

It is with humble and grateful acceptance of God’s perfect will that we, the family of Solomon Kiguru, announce the demise of our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, on 28th November, 2020 at the Aga Khan University Hospital after a short illness. He hailed from Rumuruti, Laikipia County. He was A founding Director of Laikipia West Farmers Company Ltd, and long serving Chairman of Laikipia County Council and Rumuruti Town Council.

Son of the late Stanley Kiago and the late Grace Wambui. A dear Husband of Virginia Njeri (Marmanet) and Esther Wanjiku (Rumuruti). Loving father of Grace Wambui & Dr. Charles Kariuki, Justus Kiago & Kellen Karia, Geoffrey & Esther Kimani, James & the late Sophia Mwangi, Gladys & Kimani, Jimmy & Nelly Muthongo, Eunice Wanjiku, Alice Njambi, Grace Wambui, Julia Mumbi, Eunice Mukami and Janet Muthoni. Brother of the late Mwangi Kiago, the late Eunice Wanjiku, late Rahab Wangui, late Fridah Wangui, late Beth Kiiru, Jemimah Njanju and Virginia Nyambura. He is succeeded by many grand and great-grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service at St. John’s Mutamaiyu, AICPCA Church Rumuruti at 2.00pm on Thursday, 3rd December 2020.

The cortege will leave Aga Khan Mortuary at 6.00am on Friday, 4th December 2020. The burial will be held on the same day at his farm in Gwa Ken, Marmanet Ward, Laikipia County at 10.00am.
