CPA FREDRICK OLANG’ ODHIAMBO

It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of CPA Fredrick Clang’ Odhiambo of the Office of the Controller of Budget (OCOB), Finance and Accounts Department, which occurred on 30th October 2023.

Loving father to Taylor Gumbo, Stephanie Olang’ and Myles Olang’.

Son of the laze Benjamin Odhiambo Otieno and the late Mama Florence Atieno Odhiambo of Kabonyo Sub location, Pithdibuoro Village, Ndhiwa Sub-County, Homabay County.

Grandson to Elizabeth Akinyi A’conyo,the Late Rev. Elijah Abonyo Othim, Joseph Otieno (Atiya) and Mama Wilkister Okello (Dada).

Brother to Vincent Odhiambo Atiya and the Late Maami.

Brother-in-law to Edwina Anyango, Queentah Anyango and Uncle to Paloma, Florence, Laureen and Pamela.

Nephew to John Clang, Dan Awili, Daniel Olang, Eric Abonyo, Simon Usenge, Samwel Ojowi, Richard Oluoch, Paul Ojijo and George Omondi, Sophie Achieng Aduwo, Rose Achieng, Joyce Agik, Beatrice Aoko, Christine, Evelyne (Eva), Elizabeth, Ann, Sarah, Lauryn Abonyo and the Late Leah Abonyo.

Cousin to Pauline Ochanda (African Apparels), Brenda Akinyi, Winnie Olang (Aput), Samuel Ochieng, Isaac Kitoe (UON), Alphonse, Scovian, Mark Ojowi, Habil, Rena, Arnold, Vivian, Marcelo. Steve Austin, Shego, Robert Aduwo, Jerry Otieno, Alfred Usenge, Jared Simatwa, Ian Otenyo, Vallery, Teresa and Mildred Agik and many more.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his ancestral home in Kabonyo (Mirogi) and Nairobi respectively for prayers and burial preparations.

A Requiem Mass will be held on Wednesday 15th November, 2023 ac Christ The King Catholic at 2:00pm in Embakasi, Nairobi County.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home, Mbagathi Way on Friday 17th November, 2023 at 9:00a.m for his final resting place at his ancestral home in Ndhiwa, Kabonyo Sub-Location, Homabay County.
