CPA WILFRED OBAMBO OWALLA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that the State Department for Technical, Vocational Education and Training announces the sudden death of CPA Wilfred Obambo Owalla which occurred on 7/10/2024.

Until his demise, he was the Principal of Siruti Technical and Vocational College, Awendo.

Son of the late Paul Owalla and Mama Lorna Owalla of Alego Kaluo, stepson of the late Carren and the late Adda Owalla, son in law of the late Jacktone Achiro Gondi and the late Christine Achiro of Sakwa Waora.

A devoted husband of Millicent Achiro and loving father of Joy, Nancy and Allan.

Grandfather of Ellaine. He was a treasured brother of Christine, Sally, Leonard, Jael, Dorothy, Carol, Liz, Lydia, Ammon, Salome and Samson. Brother in law of the late Achiros, the late Peter, Caroli and Willis.

Loving cousin of the Ogonys, Odingos, Oukos, Oranos, Ochiengs, Oguks, Okals, Otienos, Olingos and Onyangos.

Nephew of Jared, the late Alice, the late Joyce, Judith, Anna, the late Irene,Wilkister, the late Benson, Margaret, Susan, Leah, Carren, Molly, Beryl and Mike.

Uncle of Luanga, Ian, Joy, Fran, Juliet among others.

The cortege leaves Agha Khan Hospital mortuary on 31st October at 12.00pm for prayers at St. Mark Riwo ACK, thereafter a night vigil at his home in Mamboleo.

In the morning of 1st November the cortege leaves Mamboleo residence to his rural home in Siaya ahead of the burial on 2nd November 2024.
