Cyriaca Kathanga Njoka

It is with deep sorrow and the humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Cyriaca Kathanga Njoka; which occurred on 15th May 2020, after a long battle with ill-health. She was a former chairperson of the Maendeleo ya Wanawake Organization Eastern Province.

Daughter of the late Maria Gitonga and the late Victor Gitonga M’rewa. Loving wife of the late Fredrick Njoka Namu and a mother to Christina Maria Njoka and Elizabeth Mwendwa, late Peter Muriithi Njoka, the late Victor Gitonga Njoka and Lucy Mukiira. Sister of the late Luka Miriti, Mugambi Victor, the late Stephanie Wanja, Agatha Njiru, the late Titus Kiungo, the late Beatrice Kainyu, Petronilla Kinyua and Agnes Maina. Sister in law of the late Joe Njue, the late James Ngari, the late Margaret Njeru, the late Grace Omar, Hellen Muonge and Beatrice Kaari. Grandmother to; Roy Njoka & Ebby Gatamu, Stephanie Mwega & Joseph Ouko, David Mutugi, Alvin Muriithi, Milan Mwega and Victoria Kathanga. Great grandmother of Mich Ouko, Taraji Ndago, Sankara Namu and Samora Gatamu.

The cortege will leave Consolata Kieni Hospital on Saturday 23rd May 2020 at 9 am for the funeral service to be held at her Gankiriri farm, Chuka.
