CYRUS MURIUKI KARUGU

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cyrus Muriuki Karugu, which occurred on 13th October, 2021.

Cyrus was husband to Mrs Joyce Wanjiku Muriuki. Son of the late Karugu and Waruguru Mbuthia. Brother to the late James Muriuki, the late Muhoreri Kanja, Charles Mugo, the late Wanjugu Waruhiu, Mwihaki Njere, the late Gathigia, the late John Ngari and Professor Mambo Karugu.

Father to Mr & Dr Nyawira Karugu, Professor & Mrs Mbuthia, Wairimu Ngugi, Mr & Mrs Mugo, Mr & Mrs Wamae, Mr & Mrs Maregwa, Mary & the late Captain Mwangi, Mr & Mrs Wamahiu, Mr & Mrs Waweru and the late Catherine Muriuki.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers today between 5.00pm and 6.00pm at his residence along Kirongothi Street, off Juja Road in Eastleigh.

Cyrus will be laid to rest on Thursday 21st October, 2021 at his Muhuri farm in Miiri/Kiangai, near Ndima Tea Factory.
